Eternal Q3 Results & Leadership Update

Strong Q3 Performance

Eternal Ltd, the parent of food-delivery platform Zomato and quick commerce arm Blinkit, reported robust financial growth for Q3 FY26:
Consolidated net profit jumped ~73% YoY to ₹102 crore, up from ~₹59 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Revenue from operations surged over 200% YoY to around ₹16,315 crore, driven by higher activity in both food delivery and Blinkit businesses.
Adjusted EBITDA grew about 28% YoY, reflecting better unit economics and profitability improvement.

Leadership Change: Deepinder Goyal Steps Down

Founder and long-time CEO Deepinder Goyal announced he will step down as Managing Director & CEO of Eternal effective February 1, 2026. He is transitioning to the role of Vice Chairman and Director on the board, subject to shareholder approval.

New CEO: Albinder Singh Dhindsa

Albinder Singh Dhindsa, current CEO of Blinkit, will take over as the Group CEO of Eternal. Dhindsa — known for founding and scaling Blinkit and previously heading international operations — is expected to lead day-to-day execution and drive growth across the delivery and quick commerce ecosystem.

Why the Change?

In a shareholder letter, Goyal said his decision is motivated by a desire to pursue new, higher-risk ideas and experimentation that lie outside Eternal’s strategic focus. While he steps back from operational duties, he will remain involved in long-term strategy, culture and governance at the company.

Business Highlights Beyond the Numbers

Quick commerce (Blinkit) showed notable improvement, achieving EBITDA profitability for the first time at the segment level after earlier losses.
Food delivery (Zomato) continued to grow, with improved net order values.
• Adjusted business metrics confirm accelerating growth momentum across categories.

In summary: Eternal delivered impressive Q3 profit and revenue growth, reflecting stronger execution across food delivery and quick commerce. Alongside this performance, the company is undergoing a major leadership transition with founder Deepinder Goyal moving to a strategic role and Blinkit’s Albinder Dhindsa stepping in as CEO — indicating a potential new chapter for the business
