India’s SME IPO segment continues witnessing robust activity as several small and medium-sized enterprises successfully access the capital markets. Strong retail participation and increasing investor awareness have supported healthy subscription levels across multiple SME offerings.
Many companies are utilising IPO proceeds to expand production capacity, invest in technology and strengthen their balance sheets. The growing interest in SME issues also reflects improving confidence in India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
However, analysts continue advising investors to carefully evaluate business quality, profitability and liquidity before investing in SME IPOs, as these stocks can witness higher volatility than mainboard listings.
