Anant Raj continues to develop its data-centre business as a separate growth vertical. The company had earlier announced plans to demerge the data-centre business into Ashok Cloud Pvt. Ltd., with the objective of giving the digital-infrastructure operation a dedicated platform for expansion.
The move reflects the growing demand for data-centre capacity driven by cloud computing, artificial intelligence and digital services. Separating the business could allow investors to value the real-estate and data-centre operations independently, while also providing greater flexibility for future capital investment.
