Indian equities are likely to begin Monday with a mildly positive bias, although global markets remain cautious. GIFT Nifty was indicating a gain of around 47 points, while Asian markets were mostly weaker and US futures remained subdued. The Nifty had ended Friday at 24,252, up 0.08%, while the Sensex closed almost flat at 77,541.
Investors are likely to remain selective as crude stays above $90 a barrel and markets await developments on new US sanctions against Iran. The upcoming Nvidia results and Federal Reserve commentary are also expected to influence global risk appetite.
