Dhanwel Hybrid Seeds has moved to the allotment stage after completing its SME IPO. The issue received overall subscription of around 1.62 times, with the retail portion attracting stronger participation than the institutional segment.
The company operates in the agricultural-seed business, giving investors exposure to India’s expanding organised agriculture-input market. The IPO allotment is scheduled for August 25, while the shares are expected to list on August 26.
Investors will now focus on the final allotment and expected listing price. Unlike heavily oversubscribed mainboard issues, the relatively moderate subscription means the listing could depend more heavily on prevailing SME-market sentiment.
