Larsen & Toubro has secured an ultra-mega contract worth more than Rs. 15,000 cr. in West Asia. The project involves engineering and construction work related to gas-compression facilities and associated infrastructure.
The order strengthens L&T’s position in large international energy-infrastructure projects at a time when demand for gas infrastructure remains significant. The size of the contract also adds to the company’s international order visibility.
Despite geopolitical uncertainty in West Asia, the project demonstrates the continuing scale of infrastructure investment in the region. Investors will track execution and order inflows as important drivers of L&T’s future performance.
