Adani Airports Raises $1.03 Billion to Fund Expansion

Adani Airport Holdings has raised around $1.03 billion through an equity funding round involving investors including Temasek, BlackRock, Alpha Wave Global and Premji Invest. The investors will collectively acquire a 5.54% stake in the airport operator.

Adani Airports operates eight airports, including Mumbai, and handles around 23% of India’s passenger traffic and about one-third of its air cargo. The fresh capital is expected to support expansion plans, including increasing passenger-handling capacity to around 200 million annually, terminal development and potential international opportunities.
