The National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. (NSE) IPO opened for public subscription on Thursday, September 17, following an anchor-book allocation of Rs.6,746 crore. The exchange allotted shares to 189 anchor investors at Rs.1,785 per share, the upper end of its price band.
The IPO is an Offer for Sale of around 12.64 crore shares and is scheduled to remain open until September 21. LIC was the largest anchor investor, while other participants included Fidelity, Norway’s Government Pension Fund and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. The issue size is around Rs.22,561.57 crore.
