Money Times Talk (MTTs) – 21/09/26

  • As per astrology view, important turning dates are 22nd, 25th and 29th September 2026.

  • Friday night closing: Crude closed at $103.87, Dow fell 95 points, Nasdaq rose 104 points and S&P 12 points, while Gift Nifty fell 61 points to 23,300, signalling a possible gap-down opening on Monday, subject to weekend developments. Brent crude above $80 remains a major negative for the Indian economy.

  • JPMorgan on oil: Geopolitical uncertainty from the Iran conflict is keeping oil-supply risks elevated, with Brent trading above estimated fair value amid disruptions and infrastructure risks.

  • Bullish breakout: On Friday, 18th September 2026, Atlanta Electricals, Blackrose, Chemcon, Haldyn Glass, IOL Chemicals, IVP, Jyoti, Morepenlab, Prince Pipes, Sukhjit Starch and Wabag witnessed bullish breakouts with strong volumes. Keep these 11 stocks on radar and focus on companies likely to deliver strong Q2 results and optimistic Q3 commentary.

  • Alert on SME stocks: Kore Digital crashed to Rs.79 from Rs.952 after SEBI barred its promoters over alleged Rs.541 cr. revenue misstatement. Teerth Gopicon fell from Rs.774 to Rs.14 and Taylormade Renewables from Rs.856 to Rs.55. Be cautious of SME stocks with stretched valuations and weak transparency.

  • Big negatives for Indian economy and markets: Brent crude above $80, drought risks, possible RBI rate hikes and heavy IPO activity could pressure liquidity and cash stocks. Avoid overtrading, leverage and margin funding till Diwali-Christmas.
