Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd. reported net profit of approximately Rs.341.6 crore for the September quarter of FY27, representing a 4.3% year-on-year increase from Rs.327.5 crore. Revenue rose 12.3% to Rs.1,705.8 crore compared with the corresponding quarter last year.
The company operates in oral-care and personal-care products, with toothpaste and toothbrushes forming key parts of its business. Revenue growth indicates stronger sales compared with the year-earlier period, but the reported narrowing of its EBITDA margin to around 28% suggests that costs and product mix remain important considerations.
Investors will be tracking volume growth, pricing, advertising expenditure, input costs and competition in the consumer-products market. The sustainability of revenue growth alongside margins will be important in assessing the company’s operating performance in upcoming quarters.
