Prism, the parent company of hospitality platform OYO, has secured approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to proceed with its proposed public offering, according to recent IPO coverage. The proposed issue is reported at approximately Rs.6,650 crore, marking a significant step in the company’s plans to access the capital markets.
The company operates in the hospitality and travel accommodation sector through its technology-led platform connecting travellers with hotel and accommodation partners. Investors will need to examine its revenue growth, profitability, debt obligations, cash flow and the economics of its hotel-partner network to assess the proposed valuation.
SEBI approval does not mean the IPO will open immediately. The final issue timetable, price band and offer structure should be confirmed through the prospectus and official exchange disclosures.
