Razorpay Receives SEBI Approval for Proposed Rs.5,000–6,000 Crore IPO

Digital payments company Razorpay has received approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for its proposed initial public offering, according to a report published on November 4. The issue is expected to be valued in the range of Rs.5,000–6,000 crore, making it one of the significant potential fintech listings in India’s primary market.

The Bengaluru-based company is reportedly targeting a stock market debut during January–March 2027. However, the actual launch schedule will depend on market conditions, investor demand and the company’s subsequent announcements.

The proposed listing would mark an important development for India’s fintech sector, as digital payments businesses continue to attract attention from public-market investors. The final issue structure, price band and dates are yet to be announced.
