ACME Solar Commissions First Phase of 28 MW of its 100 MW Wind Power Project in Gujarat

GURUGRAM, 18th October 2025:
ACME Solar Holdings Limited, a leading integrated renewable energy player with a diversified portfolio spanning solar, wind, storage, FDRE, and hybrid solutions, has commissioned the first phase of its 100 MW wind power project located in Surendranagar, Gujarat. With an in-house EPC and O&M division, ACME Solar delivers end-to-end renewable energy solutions, maintaining industry-leading CUF and operating margins across its 2,918 MW operational capacity.

The commissioning of 28 MW marks a key milestone in the 100 MW ACME Ecoclean Wind Project, which will be completed in phases. The commissioning was witnessed and confirmed by officials from the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) and Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL), with the formal certification expected shortly. Strategically located in one of India’s highest wind resource regions, this project reinforces ACME Solar’s commitment to advancing India’s renewable energy transition.

The project has been financed by the Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and constructed through ACME’s in-house EPC, deploying SANY’s 4 MW turbines. Clean energy generated from the project is pooled at a 33/220 kV pooling station and evacuated to the Shapar sub-station via a dedicated single-circuit 220 kV transmission line. The project shares its sub-station infrastructure with ACME Solar’s already commissioned 50 MW wind power project.

The power generated will be supplied under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) signed between ACME Ecoclean and Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL), ensuring long-term clean energy delivery to the state’s power grid.
