ACME Solar Holdings Ltd is a leading integrated renewable energy player with a diversified portfolio across solar, wind, storage, FDRE and hybrid solutions. The company has an operational capacity of 2,934 MW and an under-construction capacity of 4,456 MW, including 13.5 GWh of BESS installation. With an in-house EPC and O&M division, ACME executes end-to-end development and maintenance of its projects, ensuring time- and cost-efficient delivery along with industry-leading CUF and strong operating margins.
It has commissioned an additional 16 MW at its 100 MW wind power project in Surendranagar, Gujarat, following the first-phase commissioning of 28 MW in October 2025. The commissioning was witnessed and confirmed by officials from the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) and Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL), with the formal certificate expected shortly.
With this milestone, the project’s operational capacity now stands at 44 MW, enhancing ACME Solar’s total operational portfolio to 2,934 MW.
The project recently received an extension to its Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) from the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (GERC) after recognition of Force Majeure events under the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). The revised SCOD is 5th March 2026, and the project has already achieved early part-capacity commissioning through its first two phases.
Financed by Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and built through in-house EPC, the project deploys SANY’s 4 MW turbines. Power generated from the wind asset will be supplied under a 25-year PPA between ACME Eco Clean and Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited.
