Adani Power Ltd. reported consolidated net profit of approximately Rs.7,019 crore for the second quarter of FY27, representing growth of around 142% year-on-year. Reported revenue increased 39% to Rs.19,951 crore, while reported EBITDA rose 46% to Rs.8,743 crore.
The company attributed its performance to strong electricity demand, higher power-sale volumes and improved realisations. Continuing revenue stood at Rs.17,528 crore, while continuing EBITDA was Rs.6,321 crore. The reported profit also benefited from recognition of prior-period revenue, which is important when assessing the sustainability of the increase.
Adani Power also disclosed developments involving a long-term power-supply agreement in Uttarakhand and plans to enter hydropower. Investors will be watching project execution, fuel costs, regulatory developments and the distinction between reported and continuing earnings.
