As discussed in the previous report dated 16th February 2026, market behaviour remained on expected lines during the past week. Nifty rallied up to 25885 but, due to mild profit booking, closed at 25571.25.

As discussed yesterday market behaviour remained on the expected lines during the day, as buying pressure failed to surpass break out level of 25887 (made a high of 25885.3) and slip extreme to day low of 25388.75

As discussed yesterday, market behaviour remained on expected lines. Nifty tested the support of 25653, marking a day low of 25645.15, and bounced from there towards our resistance of 25800, making a day high of 25828.05.

As discussed yesterday, market behaviour remained on expected lines. Nifty opened with selling pressure and hit a day low of 25570.3. From there, supportive buying pushed the index upward towards our breakout level of 25758, marking a day high of 25764.40.

As discussed yesterday, market behaviour remained on expected lines. Nifty respected the opening bullish gap of 3rd February 2026 and rallied up to our level of 25695, marking a day high of 25697.
Indian equities remained range-bound with mild volatility. The benchmark Nifty February futures closed at 25,989.70, trading at a premium of about 35.85 points over the spot Nifty, indicating a cautiously positive near-term bias.
Market Setup
Indian markets are expected to open on a cautious note today amid mixed global cues and continued volatility in the IT pack. Overnight weakness in global tech stocks and uncertain foreign fund flows may keep sentiment range-bound in early trade. However, resilience in banking and domestic cyclicals could provide partial support.
Citi on Info Edge maintained Sell with a revised target of Rs.1120 cut from Rs.1300. While 3Q EBITDA beat estimates by 10 percent and recruitment revenues surprised positively, the brokerage cut FY27 and FY28 EPS by 14 percent and 9 percent citing slower hiring outlook and AI overhang. Valuation multiple was sharply reduced to 13x Sep27E EV EBITDA from 20x earlier.
