The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved L’Oréal India’s proposed acquisition of Onesto Labs, the company behind beauty and personal-care brands including Bare Anatomy and Chemist at Play. The regulatory clearance moves the proposed transaction forward.
The deal would expand L’Oréal India’s presence in India’s digitally focused beauty and personal-care segment. Onesto Labs operates the Innovist platform and houses brands across categories such as hair care and skin care. The transaction remains subject to completion of the applicable steps.
