Note:
FIIs’ net long position in the new expiry stands at 13.45%, relatively on the higher side compared to the past four months, giving them room to create fresh shorts. Overall, net shorts have been built in 12,906 lots, while 5,332 lots have been added on the long side.
We may witness further downside pressure tomorrow, with 25,012 likely to act as the immediate support zone for Nifty.
Any rise above 25,227 may trigger short-covering, pushing the index towards 25,345.
