1. FIIs’ net long is @ 12.37

4. FIIs bought Rs. 283.60 cr in cash, added Rs. 404.60 cr in index futures and Rs. 665.60 cr in stock futures.
   DIIs bought Rs. 824.50 cr in cash.
5. Open interest positions:
   A. FIIs added 27 lots & covered shorts in 1191 lots (1218 lots).
   B. DIIs bought 55 lots & added 275 on the short side (-220 lots).
   C. Retail clients booked profit in 6825 lots & covered shorts in 789 lots (-6036 lots).
   D. Pro added 307 lots & covered shorts in 4731 lots (5038 lots).

Note:
Data suggests FIIs and DIIs had very small contribution in index trades today. FIIs added only 27 lots and covered 1191 lots. DIIs added 55 lots and created shorts in 275 lots. Retail and Pro have been participating heavily in index trades for the last 3 days. Retail booked profit in 6825 lots and covered shorts in 789 lots, while Pro covered shorts in 4731 lots.

Retail and Pro added positions every day when FIIs were hammering Nifty in the last 2–2.5 weeks, and now they are reaping rewards.

Hats off to DIIs + Pro + Retail clients. DIIs have been adding for the last 60 days in the cash segment, and Pro + Retail have been adding in index futures, countering selling by FIIs across segments.

We boldly recommended buying and gave a reversal in Nifty around 25370–25200. Nifty made a low of 25320 and is now on the verge of breaking all-time highs. We were the only ones to mention Nifty will hit an all-time high around the 25350 zone.

As per data, the PCR ratio is at 1.51. If Nifty opens gap-up and moves toward all-time highs, PCR may rise to 1.70–1.80 (overbought zone), leading to small profit booking.

Intraday:
26336 will be the immediate resistance (26277–26336 resistance zone).
26100 is immediate support (26100–26336 zone).
Any dips around 26100–26115 will be a buying opportunity with SL 26050, tgt 26200–26277.

Expecting small profit booking around 26277–26336 as PCR may inflate to 1.80–1.85 in that zone. Don’t miss the opportunity to add Nifty if any profit booking comes around 26100–26050, with SL 25997 and tgt 26241.
