Fujifilm India is planning to invest around Rs.800 crore in a greenfield semiconductor-materials manufacturing facility at Dholera in Gujarat. Commercial production is targeted for 2027–28, with the project planned in two phases.
The initial phase is expected to focus on chemicals used in front-end semiconductor manufacturing, while the second phase will expand into surface-conditioning materials and high-purity chemicals. Fujifilm is also exploring supply arrangements with Indian semiconductor manufacturers and local companies as India’s chip manufacturing and packaging ecosystem develops.
