HyFun Foods Plans Rs.2,000 Crore IPO by 2028

HyFun Foods, a supplier to global restaurant chains including McDonald’s and KFC, is planning an IPO of up to Rs.2,000 crore by late 2028. The company is expected to begin preparations for the proposed issue from the middle of 2027.

The frozen-food manufacturer plans to use the proposed fundraising largely to support capacity expansion as demand from India’s food-service, retail and quick-commerce sectors increases. The company expects its revenue to more than double to nearly Rs.3,500 crore by FY28.

HyFun currently generates a significant portion of its revenue from exports, but expects domestic demand to become a larger contributor over the next few years. The proposed IPO would therefore support the company’s planned expansion in the Indian market.
