JD Cables Limited has announced a significant expansion initiative with the acquisition of a new industrial facility from Star Battery Limited at Dankuni, Hooghly, for ₹10.45 crore. The property spans approximately 1,18,288 sq. ft. (164.29 Cottah) and includes existing sheds and building structures, enabling immediate industrial utilization. This strategic move aims to enhance the company’s manufacturing infrastructure and support ongoing capacity expansion plans.
The new facility will allow JD Cables to scale up production of its range of cables and conductors, meet growing market demand, and improve delivery timelines and operational flexibility. It also provides a foundation for future growth, facilitating expansion of the company’s product portfolio and geographical presence.
In addition, JD Cables has placed orders for advanced machinery worth ₹5.72 crore for its Conductor Division, which will be installed at the newly acquired facility. This investment is expected to enhance manufacturing efficiency, elevate product quality, and boost overall output, further strengthening the company’s position in the cables and conductors industry.
