JSW Cement Ltd. has commissioned an additional cement grinding unit with a capacity of 1 million tonnes per annum at Nagaur, Rajasthan. The commissioning forms part of the company’s ongoing efforts to expand its production capacity and strengthen its presence in northern India.
The new facility increases the company’s manufacturing footprint in the region and is expected to support supplies to markets across Rajasthan and neighbouring areas. The expansion also forms part of JSW Cement’s broader capacity-building programme.
The project comes as demand for cement and construction materials remains linked to infrastructure, housing and industrial development. The additional capacity is expected to provide the company with greater flexibility to serve regional markets as its distribution network expands.
