Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd. has signed a memorandum of understanding with National Shipbuilding & Heavy Industries Park Maharashtra to participate as the anchor shipyard in a proposed greenfield shipbuilding industrial cluster at Dighi in Maharashtra.
The proposed cluster is aimed at developing shipbuilding and related industrial capabilities in the state. Mazagon Dock’s participation could provide it with an additional platform for capacity expansion and collaboration within the domestic shipbuilding ecosystem.
