The much-awaited IPO of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) is gathering momentum, with reports suggesting that the exchange could price its shares between Rs.1,700 and Rs.1,785 per share.
At the upper end of the expected range, NSE could be valued at around Rs.4.4 lakh cr., potentially making it one of India’s most valuable listed companies.
Reports suggest that the public listing could take place in the week beginning 21 September. The proposed IPO is expected to be one of the most significant capital-market events in India, given NSE’s dominant position in equity derivatives trading.
