The much-awaited National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. (NSE) IPO is set to open for subscription on September 17 and close on September 21. The price band has been fixed at Rs.1,700–1,785 per share, with the issue expected to raise around Rs.22,561 crore at the upper end of the band.
The offering is an Offer for Sale by existing shareholders, meaning NSE itself will not receive fresh capital from the issue. The number of shares being offered has been reduced to around 126.4 million from the earlier plan of 148.91 million shares. NSE reported a 6.7% YoY rise in Q1 net profit to Rs.3,120 crore, while revenue from operations grew 13% to Rs.4,560 crore.
