SML Mahindra Ltd. reported a 32% year-on-year increase in commercial vehicle sales to 1,071 units in September 2026. Production rose 20% YoY to 1,257 units during the month, according to the company’s monthly business update.
Exports, however, declined 62% YoY to 53 units, indicating a divergence between domestic sales momentum and overseas shipments. The figures provide an early view of the company’s operating performance ahead of its September-quarter financial results.
The company is scheduled to consider its unaudited results for the second quarter and first half of FY27 on October 19. Investors will be watching whether the increase in domestic volumes translates into improved revenue and margins, while also tracking export demand and production trends.
