Star Health Q2 Net Profit Jumps 232% to Rs. 264.4 Crore

Star Health and Allied Insurance Company Ltd. reported a 232% year-on-year rise in net profit to Rs. 264.4 crore for the September quarter of FY27, compared with Rs. 79.6 crore in the corresponding period last year.

The sharp improvement places the health insurer among the notable companies reporting quarterly results this week. Investors will be looking for further details on premium collections, claims experience and operating expenses to assess the sustainability of the earnings growth. Profit growth alone does not establish whether underwriting performance has improved across all business segments.
