Singapore-based investment firm Temasek has acquired a minority stake in Romsons Group through a strategic private-equity transaction. The investment is intended to support the medical-device company’s expansion in India and overseas, while also providing resources for potential acquisitions.
Romsons plans to use the partnership to strengthen its product portfolio, manufacturing capabilities, technology and organisational processes. The company also said it will evaluate strategic partnerships and acquisitions that fit its expansion plans. It may consider accessing public markets at an appropriate time, depending on its business trajectory and market conditions.
