Urban Company reported a net loss of approximately Rs.182 crore for Q2 FY27, compared with a loss of Rs.59 crore in the year-ago quarter. Revenue, however, rose 41% year-on-year, reflecting expansion in its home-services business and continued investment in newer offerings.
The company’s quick-services platform, InstaHelp, was a major contributor to the higher loss as the business continued to invest in growth. The results highlight the trade-off between revenue expansion and near-term profitability. Investors will be watching whether increased spending can translate into stronger customer retention, improved operating efficiency and better margins over time.
