Friday night closing: Crude closed at $103.87, Dow fell 95 points, Nasdaq rose 104 points and S&P 12 points, while Gift Nifty fell 61 points to 23,300, signalling a possible gap-down opening on Monday, subject to weekend developments. Brent crude above $80 remains a major negative for the Indian economy.

As we discussed in the previous report dated 15th September 26 market behaviour remained on the expected lines during the week passed by as oversold RSI and buyers efforts to take a charge of nifty opened the nifty positive, rally upto 23592.85, from same point Selling start immediately and take down the nifty to weekly low of 23116.1, finally closed at 23346.4
