As discussed yesterday, market behaviour remained on expected lines during the day, as profit booking dragged Nifty down to our support level of 25151 (made a low of 25152.3) after a decisive breakdown of 25240.
A long bearish candle engulfed the small bullish candle formed on the previous day’s chart, creating a bearish descending hawk candlestick pattern. Technically, this pattern indicates diminishing buying power and a warning that the current uptrend may be losing momentum. Hence, if Nifty decisively breaks below 25184, it may slip to 25140–25097. If selling pressure intensifies, it could test 25053.
Equirus on Sky Gold – Initiates coverage with a Long rating, TP Rs.502. Expects FY25–28E CAGR of 37% in revenue, 44% in EBITDA, and 43% in PAT driven by premium product mix and capacity ramp-up (225kg → 1,260kg/month).
CITI on PI Industries – Maintains Buy with TP Rs.4,350 (22% upside). Expects weak Q2 results due to lower prices for key product Pyroxasulfone and Kumiai’s high inventory levels.

As discussed in the previous report dated 6th October 2025, market behaviour remained on the expected lines during the week, as strong buying pressure and bullish sentiment lifted Nifty to 25330.75, closing near our projected level at 25285.35.
A bullish candle on both weekly and daily charts indicates continuation of the positive momentum. Nifty may face resistance around 25410–25527. A decisive breakout above these levels could extend the rally towards 25650–25770.
Derivatives Slowdown Hits Brokers
BSE, Angel One and other brokers witnessed a sharp 40–60% drop in derivatives revenue amid regulatory changes and muted trading activity. Active monthly traders fell from 30–40 lakh to nearly 20–22 lakh. NSE Chairman noted that India’s derivatives market remains much smaller than the US, with earlier volume surge partly driven by STT loopholes.
