Indian equity markets showed a mild recovery today, with the BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 closing higher after two volatile sessions. Banking and financial stocks led the rebound, helping offset pressure from global uncertainties.
Despite the ongoing geopolitical tensions, domestic investors stepped in to buy quality stocks at lower levels. However, foreign institutional investors remained cautious due to global risks.
Analysts believe that while short-term recovery is visible, markets will continue to react sharply to any escalation in war-related developments.
