Indian equity markets are set for a cautious opening today, with GIFT Nifty indicating a decline of around 65 points early Tuesday. The weakness comes amid subdued global cues and continuing concerns over crude prices and geopolitical tensions. The Nifty had closed Monday at around 24,169, while the Sensex ended near 77,369.
Investors are likely to track the monthly derivatives expiry, foreign fund flows and movements in global markets. FII buying of around Rs. 1,181.66 cr. and DII buying of nearly Rs. 2,493.41 cr. on Monday provided some support, but traders remain cautious ahead of key global developments.
