Tensions between the United States and Iran remain a major risk for global markets. President Donald Trump and Iranian officials exchanged fresh warnings over the weekend, while Iran-aligned Houthi forces continued attacks in the region, including strikes targeting Saudi Arabia.
The conflict has raised concerns over the security of major oil and shipping routes. Although increased Saudi shipments have helped ease some immediate supply concerns, any fresh disruption around the Strait of Hormuz or other regional routes could quickly push energy prices higher.
