Oil prices eased on Friday as markets assessed the possibility of a ceasefire between the United States and Iran. Brent crude was around $105.85 a barrel, while WTI stood near $93.80. At the same time, markets remained alert to attacks on energy infrastructure, including missile activity involving Saudi Arabia.
The conflict continues to create uncertainty for global energy supplies and shipping routes. Any progress in negotiations could reduce some of the risk premium in crude prices, while fresh attacks on oil facilities or disruption around key routes could have the opposite effect.
