As discussed yesterday market behaviour remained on the expected lines during the day, as nifty opened 24285.05 i.e. near to our breakout of 24290, touched high of 24313 but failed to sustain and slip to day low of 24144.3 i.e. near the our down side support of 24138 and finally gave closing of 24219.05 i.e. near to our breakdown of 24214.

As per an expert agri economist, major kharif crops may face harvest shortfalls, with rice, oilseeds, pulses and cotton yields likely to be affected.
