  • Daily Morning Report 1st April 2025
  • NIFTY OUTLOOK: 23,519.35 FII: -Rs. 4,352.82 cr | DII: Rs. 7,646.49 cr
  • (1st April – 4th April 2025)
  • As discussed in the 24th March 2025 report, the market followed the expected uptrend, rallying to 23,870 after decisively breaking 23,413.
  • However, the appearance of a gravestone doji candlestick pattern on the weekly chart signals a potential pause in the uptrend, with bears taking control. The Nifty Index may find support around 23,358–23,330 to 23,198, and a break below these levels could lead to a further decline towards 23,037–22,877.
  • While the short-term trend remains positive, diminishing buying pressure last week suggests 23,683–23,847 as immediate resistance. A breakout above these levels could push the Nifty towards 24,026–24,163.
  • Bank Nifty Outlook
  • SPOT: 51,564.85 | PCR: 0.99 Max CE OI: 53,000 | Max PE OI: 53,000
  • On 28th March 2025, Bank Nifty closed at 51,564.85, down 0.02% from the previous day. The index moved 503.75 points intraday, hitting a high of 51,839.10 and a low of 51,335.35.
  • For today's session, the previous high (51,839.10) may act as resistance, while the previous low (51,335.35) could serve as support.
  • Technical View on Daily Chart
  • Key levels for Bank Nifty: Resistance at 52,063, Support at 50,920.
  • On 28th March, the index traded within a range and closed with a long-legged doji formation. A break above 52,000-52,100 may trigger an upward rally toward 53,000, followed by 54,000 in the short term. Conversely, if it breaches the support zone, a decline toward 50,600-50,500 is likely.
  • The Relative Strength Index (RSI) stands at 69.93. Readings below 30 indicate an oversold condition, while those above 70 signal an overbought market.
  • Bank Nifty Day SMA Analysis
  • Bank Nifty is trading above all 8 SMAs (5, 10, 20, 30, 50, 100, 150, and 200-day).
  • It is not trading below any SMA.
  • A bullish candlestick pattern was identified:
  • Long-legged doji in an uptrend.
  • Macro:
  • Global markets remain uneasy as the deadline for potential trade tariffs nears. The Dollar Index stands at 103.92, while the 10-year bond yield is at 4.223%. Crude oil trades at $74.24, and VIX has surged 5.68% to 22.88, indicating rising market volatility.
  • U.S. stocks fell sharply on Monday amid concerns over President Trump’s April 2nd tariff deadline, which could fuel inflation and slow economic growth. Recent payroll data also signals a slowdown, with March job additions at 1.39 lakh, down from 1.50 lakh in February, while the unemployment rate remains at 4.1%.
  • As the deadline approaches, global equities may see knee-jerk reactions. The full impact on inflation, jobs, and possible retaliatory tariffs will unfold in the coming months. In the short term, market sentiment remains cautious.
