  • Daily Morning Report
  • NIFTY OUTLOOK: 23,668.65 | FII: 5,371.57 cr | DII: -2,768.87 cr
  • As expected, the market opened strong and rallied to 23,869.40 before facing profit booking near the resistance of 23,857, pulling it down to 23,601.40, close to the support at 23,593.
  • A long bullish candle followed by a bearish one has formed a bearish meeting line candlestick pattern on the daily chart, indicating a potential pause in the bullish trend. A decisive breakdown below 23,603 could lead to further weakness toward 23,537–23,473, with sustained trading below these levels potentially dragging Nifty to 23,407.
  • On the upside, 23,803–23,865 may act as immediate resistance. A breakout above these levels could push Nifty toward 23,931.
  • Bank Nifty Outlook:
  • SPOT: 51,607.95 | PCR: 1.03 | Max CE OI: 53,000 | Max PE OI: 49,000
  • On 25th March 2025, Bank Nifty closed at 51,607.95, down 0.19% from the previous session. The index moved 634.35 points during the day, with an intraday high of 52,063.95 and a low of 51,429.60.
  • The previous day's high of 52,063.95 and low of 51,429.60 will act as key resistance and support levels for today’s trading.
  • Technical View on Daily Chart
  • For today, Bank Nifty's key levels are 51,955 as resistance (same as the previous day) and 51,300 as support. Yesterday, the index tested resistance and moved up to the 52,000 zone but failed to sustain, dropping 600 points and forming a small bearish candle.
  • If the index crosses 52,000 and sustains, it may rally towards 52,500–53,000. A breach below 51,300 could lead to a correction towards 50,700.
  • The Relative Strength Index (RSI) stands at 73.55, indicating overbought conditions (above 70 is overbought, below 30 is oversold).
  • Bank Nifty Day SMA Analysis
  • Bank Nifty is trading above all 8 SMAs (5, 10, 20, 30, 50, 100, 150, and 200-day). It is not trading below any SMA.
  • No clear bullish or bearish candlestick pattern was identified.
  • Macro:
  • 1. Dollar index @103.81
  • 2.10 years bond yield @ 4.309
  • 3. Crude @ 72.50
  • 4. Vix @ 17.32 (-0.97 %)
  • Note: The Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) fell to 92.9 from 100.10 in the previous month, reflecting concerns over a tariff-induced slowdown. The data suggests the economy is cooling after 18 months of strong consumer-driven growth. Signs of this slowdown come ahead of key economic data releases, including inflation data this week, Q4 GDP on Thursday, and home prices and sales data on Wednesday.
  • Trade Talks: U.S. trade officials are set to visit India amid tariff concerns. A government source indicated that India expects an exemption from reciprocal tariffs as talks on a bilateral trade pact continue. U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance is also expected to visit India in April.
  • Conclusion: This week is crucial, with reciprocal tariffs set to be announced on 2nd April. Softer tariffs, limited to a few countries and sectors, are anticipated. Expect volatility in global equities.
