- Daily Morning Report
- NIFTY OUTLOOK: 23658.35 FII 3055.76 cr DII 98.54 cr
- As discussed yesterday, the market remained in line with expectations, continuing its positive momentum and rallying up to 23,708.75.
- The market opened with a gap and advanced towards the day's high, forming a long bullish candlestick pattern on the daily chart. Successive closes above the previous day's high for the past six sessions indicate a strong bullish trend. If Nifty decisively breaks 23,723, it may advance further to 23,789–23,857. Strong demand could push it towards 23,921.
- The rally from 21,964 to 23,708 has pushed the daily RSI into the overbought zone, raising the possibility of minor profit booking. Immediate support levels are at 23,593–23,527, with a sustained break below these potentially dragging Nifty down to 23,463–23,397.
- Bank Nifty OUTLOOK:
- SPOT: 51704.95 Pcr : 1.28 Max Ce OI on 53000 & Max Pe OI on 49000
- On 24th March 2025, the Bank Nifty index closed at 51,704.95, rising 2.20% from the previous day. The index moved 1,005.25 points during the session, trading between an intraday high of 51,801.15 and a low of 50,795.90.
- The previous day's high of 51,801.15 and low of 50,795.90 can be considered as resistance and support, respectively, for today.
- Technical view on Daily Chart
- For today, key technical levels in Bank Nifty are 51,955 as resistance and 50,900 as support. A strong bullish candle formed yesterday, backed by volume. If the index crosses 52,000 and sustains, it may rally further towards 52,500–53,000. However, a breach below 50,900 could lead to a correction towards 49,900.
- The Relative Strength Index (RSI) for Bank Nifty stands at 75, indicating an overbought zone (above 70 is overbought, below 30 is oversold).
- Bank nifty Day SMA Analysis
- Bank Nifty is trading above all 8 SMA levels (5, 10, 20, 30, 50, 100, 150, 200-day). It is not trading below any of these SMAs. No bullish candlestick pattern was identified in Bank Nifty.
- Macro:
- 1. Dollar index @ 103.98
- 2.10 years bond yield @ 4.335
- 3. Crude @ 72.46
- 4. Vix @ 17.48 (-9.34 %)
- Note:
- Last night, U.S. equities rallied on hopes of softer tariffs. The S&P 500 closed sharply higher on Monday, led by tech, as sentiment improved following reports that upcoming U.S. trade tariffs would be narrower and less strict than feared. The Dow surged 597 points.
- Reports from Bloomberg and The Wall Street Journal suggest that the Trump administration will likely not impose sectoral tariffs next week, with reciprocal tariffs limited to about 15 countries.
- Conclusion:
- This development is positive news, easing investor concerns globally. A relief rally may be seen in technology stocks, particularly in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and Indian markets.
- As for market data, VIX has dropped from 24 to 17.48 (down 55% in a week), signaling improved investor confidence. A lower VIX suggests U.S. markets could remain at elevated levels with low volatility unless new negative developments arise.
